The close proximity of the two transducers greatly improves sound coherence and makes it easier to properly tune the mid/high section in 3‑way speaker systems.
In the SX‑SAT set, both drivers are permanently mounted on a shared ABS plastic frame, which also serves as a stylish protective grille. It shields the speaker membranes from accidental damage caused by larger objects while not restricting sound dispersion. The set also includes milled MDF mounting panels that form the structural base for permanent installation (e.g., shaping and finishing the A‑pillars).
The kit comes with two passive crossovers (TW/MID 6 dB/oct.) equipped with high‑quality MKP capacitors in the tweeter circuit. In this configuration, the tweeter acts as a super‑tweeter, responsible only for the highest part of the frequency spectrum. Thanks to the natural materials (silk and cellulose) used in the speaker membranes, the set delivers detailed and natural reproduction of both mid and high frequencies.

The set must not be used without properly connected crossovers – incorrect use may permanently damage the midrange or tweeter drivers, and such damage is not covered by warranty.
Installation location, aiming angle and distance between drivers and listener can affect frequency response. In some cases, reversing polarity (swapping wires) may help smooth out a peak around the crossover point.
The output level of the midrange or tweeter can be adjusted using Excursion XLR attenuators (2–10 dB).
